We're proud to share the news that our LA2050 original short video, "Join the Movement," has been named a Telly Awards Gold Winner in the General-Social Impact category!⁠

The venerable and prestigious Telly Awards, now in their 44th year, honor "excellence in video and television across all screens." Our video, created on the occasion of the tenth #LA2050GrantsChallenge, focuses on the stories of a trio of grantees from the past decade, includes commentary from our president, Tara Roth, and concludes with a montage of portraits of dozens of the extraordinary people who do urgent and important work every single day in communities throughout the vast county of Los Angeles, California.⁠

Thank you to the Telly's judges, and congratulations to all the productions that were honored. Other Gold Winners in our category include Al Jazeera, the Trevor Project, Amercian Psychiatric Association Foundation, and AARP.⁠

The "Join the Movement" video also received a Silver and a Bronze in two other Telly nonprofit categories.

Last year, our LA2050 original short animation, "We Care About LA!" received a Silver Telly.
