What is your understanding of the issue that you are seeking to address?
My understanding is at this present time the homelessness, lack of food/nutrients and Income Inequality are daily needs that many are lacking.
Describe the project, program, or initiative this grant will support to address the issue.
The LA2050 Grant would support providing more space food, clothing, daily necessities for: grooming, food, beds, transportation, therapy, financial educational programs, along with reunification of family and love ones. This grant would help reduce homelessness, inequity Income and insecure food supply of lives and assist with formerly incarcerated people reintegrate back into society as independent productive citizens.
Describe how Los Angeles County will be different if your work is successful.
Los Angeles County will be different when my work is successful by decreasing the homelessness of people coming out of incarceration and promoting food security while providing avenues to increase income equality.
What evidence do you have that this project, program, or initiative is or will be successful, and how will you define and measure success?
Smiley & Ra has been assessed with a greater recidivism rate than and the evidence has been developed and the impact has been measured by my previous clients who are now independent thriving citizens in society with their own businesses and new founded careers, home ownerships/ housing and the ability to provide for their family while maintaining a positive credit in their banking/saving accounts.
