We're seeking a part-time Educational Facilitator (~40 hours per 3-week program plus meetings) to lead classroom-based, social-emotional learning for
youth ages 8-11. Our upcoming program will take place on-site in Lincoln Heights afternoons M-F from July 13-31. Working with a collaborative team, the EF delivers a curriculum rooted in humane education and the human–animal connection. Pay is commensurate with experience and credentialing costs are covered.
Roles & responsibilities
Responsibilities include: Facilitating daily lessons and reflections, supporting youth engagement, preparing materials based on our in-house curriculum, participating in staff meetings, and uploading student work to our organization's Workspace.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Prior youth development experience; strong communication and active listening skills; creativity, reliability and professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Drive preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Physical requirements: Ability to be active for 3+ hours, lift up to 25 lbs, and respond quickly in emergencies.
