We combine food access, economic justice, and community connection through in-person events and our online marketplace. We’re on a mission to transform our local food ecosystem—and we’re looking for an E-Commerce Support Specialist to help us power the digital side of that work.
About this job
We’re seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented E-Commerce Assistant to help manage and maintain our Shopify-based online store. You’ll support everything from order fulfillment and vendor coordination to customer service and website content.
Roles & responsibilities
Order Fulfillment: Track orders, communicate shipping updates, and troubleshoot issues
Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve concerns
Product Management: Update product inventory, pricing, and descriptions
Digital & Technical Support: Assist with website and product updates, QA test new features and updates, support light Shopify theme edits (Liquid/CSS) with guidance, implement apps and storefront improvements
Analytics & Ops: Help monitor performance metrics, generate reports, and streamline internal processes, document workflows and system processes
Qualifications
1+ year in e-commerce, customer support, or digital admin roles
Familiarity with Shopify (or similar platforms)
Strong written communication, organizational skills and systems oriented
Comfortable with Google Workspace, Canva, and basic tech tools (or ability to learn)
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (Liquid a plus) or strong interest in learning
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Bonus: experience in SEO, copywriting, or digital marketing
Passion for food justice and community building is a big plus
