    Cultural Roots and Leadership

    SIPA's Cultural Roots and Leadership program aims to transform Historic Filipinotown by harnessing the collective power of youth to make tangible change. This place-based effort engage the multiracial community of Historic Filipinotown through programs that affirm culture and identity, center healing and well-being and build skills around leadership development, participatory action research and advocacy.

    Home in Historic Filipinotown

    Historic Filipinotown is rapidly changing and housing in the neighborhood is becoming increasingly unaffordable. SIPA will support residents to identify and apply for affordable housing options, from the Coordinated Entry System, Section 8, general affordable units and affordable units in market developments. SIPA will offer residents in-language guidance, support and referrals to trusted partner organizations who can place residents in homes.
