The USC SCI engages in research, interdisciplinary education, and collaboration to advance sustainable public safety strategies, policies, and programs. This project will provide training to law enforcement personnel of Los Angeles County Sheriff (LASD) and California Highway Patrol (CHP) on stress management and resilience building skills to reduce the development of mental and physical health impairments that could interfere with the effectiveness of community policing and safety issues.
